IFWLA Approved Crosses
Countries Identify Transition
Phase-In Periods
(Revised August 2004, IFWLA Conference,
Prague, Czech Republic)
AUSTRALIA
Anne Kingston
Following the release
of the new 2003 IFWLA stick specifications, WLA has decided on the
timelines for the implementation of the new specifications. In the table
below the timelines are listed for each of the Senior and Aged National
Championships. WLA has also listed a timeline that is recommended for
adoption within your State competition and is listed as Local/Club.
It is at the discretion
of State Associations to “grandfather” in sticks that do not meet the new
IFWLA specifications, yet have been used for a lengthy period of time (for
example the Brine Cup). However, no sticks will be “grand fathered” for
approval at the National level.
