IFWLA Awards
Margaret Pallant
IF Recognition Award
Nominated by Australia, 2006
Mrs Margaret Pallant has contributed to
the development of strong relationships with Japan over the past 15 years.
She was first involved with hosting a Japan visit to Adelaide in 1991 and
has continued fostering the Japan-South Australia bond since then.
Margaret quickly became the co-coordinator
of most of the Japan tours to Adelaide and has also studied the language and
hosted several families as a result. A tour company now organises most of
the accommodation, whilst Margaret oversees the co-ordination of coaching,
umpiring and catering for the incoming teams.
Margaret’s contribution to international
lacrosse has been exceptional and Australia believes she is a very worthy
recipient of a IFWLA Recognition award.
